Omron WheezeScan

Omron WheezeScan is a tool designed to help parents detect wheeze in children aged 4 months to 7 years, diagnosed with asthma symptoms. WheezeScan analyzes the child´s breathing to quickly and accurately acurately tell whether or not the child is wheezing, helping to remove doubt in the moment of breathing distress and to know when and how to follow the doctor´s treatment plan. WheezeScan acts much like the stethoscope the doctor uses when listening to the lungs. By placing the sensor on the patient´s chest flr 30 seconds of normal breathing, the device can catch and then analyse the breathing sounds for the presense of wheezing.  Parents to a diagnosed child, who are advised by a physician, school nurses and physicians are allowed to use this device. Via Bluetooth® this device can pair with the "Omron Asthma Diary" app to help managing the measurement results. (compatible with iOS 10 and above and Android OS 7 and above).
